Fantastic Family Stay Pros: A Warm and Comfortable Retreat We had a fantastic 3, night stay in an accommodation that exuded a charming historical vibe, perfect for our family of four. the spacious and clean apartment provided all the necessary amenities for a short trip. the helpful and supportive person we spoke to over the phone ensured that everything was well, organized. the location was ideal, being close to the CBD and offering easy access to nearby attractions. the availability of Netflix and Wi, Fi kept everyone entertained, while the highlight for our kids was the delightful spa which they practically lived in during our stay. We also appreciated the efficient and friendly host who promptly addressed any concerns, like the shortage of teaspoons. All in all, Ballarat Station Apartments provided great value for money, welcoming us with old Ballarat charm and a comfortable retreat. Cons: It Couldn't Get Any Better 🙌 Nothing, all was good! .

We had a really nice stay in Ballarat very close to the railway station and the main shopping area, cafes, restaurants and pubs and general sightseeing, city centre, train station and bus terminals and buses. It was stunning and incredible to the Train platform to Melbourne. Stayed 1 night and didn't feel like leaving...
Nothing, all was good.

The location of these apartments is fantastic - very close to the town centre and the train platform to Melbourne. The apartments are clean and comfortable, with period charm and decor. The host's communication is excellent, ensuring a smooth stay. The buildings are quirky and delightful, with bright rooms and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The shower pressure is excellent, and there is a rear deck for relaxation.
Some improvements could be made, such as better signage for the laneway access to the rear carpark and the installation of a hand rail in the bathtub for easier entry.

The fully equipped kitchen in the apartment was a lifesaver and made cooking feel like a breeze. I felt like a royal in the spacious spa bath, it was like soaking in a luxurious oasis. The location of the apartments, right across from the train station, made getting around a piece of cake. Having unlimited WiFi and free parking included, I didn't have to worry about staying connected or finding a spot for my car. The close proximity to Sovereign Hill allowed me to immerse myself in history and indulge in the gold rush experience.
Laneway signage for rear carpark access needs improvement.

The value for money at this apartment was impressive. The room was clean and comfortable, with warm beds and electric blankets. The location was great, being quiet yet close to the city, and the off-street parking was a nice bonus. The staff provided excellent service, with daily housekeeping and a helpful owner. The apartment itself was quaint, cosy, and well-appointed, making it suitable for both short and long stays. The gas heated foyer was a welcome refuge from the cold air outside.
The one area that could use improvement is the breakfast selection.

Great location, clean and well-stocked, and good value for money. The spa was a hit with the kids. The communication was top-notch, and they even had a working kettle!
The bed was uncomfortable, the room lacked ambiance, and there was mold in the bathroom. But hey, at least there were patch-ups on the walls in a different color paint!
